About

At UpCycled Spaces, we build environmentally, educationally, and financially sustainable agricultural infrastructure. Our program seamlessly integrates into existing curricula or can be customized to create a unique learning experience, using food cultivation as the cornerstone of experiential education. We guide students through the entire farming process—from seed to sale—covering subjects like biology, environmental science, chemistry, entrepreneurship, and a variety of life skills.

We also provide strategies for distributing the food grown, generating revenue to sustain the program. While we're proud of our holistic educational approach, we also understand that some organizations may focus solely on converting underused land into productive, sustainable growing spaces. With our program, even a small area—such as half an acre—can be transformed into a thriving market garden that provides food, promotes sustainability, and enhances biodiversity.

Our most successful partnerships are built on three pillars:

  1. Environmental Sustainability: Promoting biodiversity, enhancing soil health, and ensuring long-term land fertility.

  2. Educational Sustainability: Offering practical, real-world learning experiences that equip students with valuable skills.

  3. Financial Sustainability: Enabling ongoing support without placing a financial burden on the institution or property owner through smart resource management.
